Broward County Name Change Attorney

Unless an individual is seeking to restore a former name, then state and federal law require that a criminal background check be conducted with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement before a case may be submitted to the circuit court so that a Judge can enter an Order completing the name change process.  Attorney Antonio Quinn has assisted and guided numerous clients through the name change process.  Fingerprints will need to be taken in accordance with FDLE guidelines in order to facilitate the background check process and then a Petition would need to be filed with the circuit court in which the individual resides.  Once the Petition is filed then a hearing is set before the presiding circuit court judge and as long as all of the legal requirements have been satisfied,  the judge will sign an order legally changing the party's name.  Once a person has changed their name with the Circuit court, next there are forms that need to be completed for the Social Security Administration and the person's name would need to be changed with the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles.  If you are seeking a name change and you are desiring an easy and fast result, then the first step in the process should be to contact an attorney who is experienced in the name change process in Florida. Contact Quinn Law, P.A. todaty at (954) 729-7770 or toll free at (844) ADQ-LAW4 to set up a free consultation to discuss your prospective name change.
